Elior Group announces the appointment of Boris Derichebourg as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Elior France, replacing Jean-Yves Fontaine.

Boris Derichebourg, Chief Operating Officer of Elior Group, also becomes Chairman of Elior France, the entity covering all catering activities in France. One of his main priorities is the development of commercial synergies between the Group's different businesses. He also retains the chairmanship of Derichebourg Multiservices.


Elior Group Chairman and CEO Daniel Derichebourg commented: "I have decided to entrust Boris with the remit of accelerating the turnaround and development of the catering business in France. This new management will be able to draw on a new, simplified, more cross-functional organization, fully focused on operations, which will be in place by the end of the current fiscal year. I would like to thank Jean-Yves Fontaine for the work he has accomplished at the helm of Elior France over the past four years."


Biography of Boris Derichebourg
After 10 years in motor sport, Boris Derichebourg joined Derichebourg in 2004, where he proved his worth for two years, before becoming CEO of Derichebourg Multiservices in 2006, then Chairman in 2008. Drawing on his experience as a high-level sportsman, Boris Derichebourg capitalized on his competitive qualities to develop a different approach to business. He restructured the firm and breathed new life into it by adding new revenue streams. Derichebourg Multiservices quickly became the leading player in the outsourced services market with more than ten consecutive years of strong organic growth.


Since 2014, he has been a member of Young Leaders France China Foundation and YPO (Young Presidents’ Organization), of which he was President from 2016 to 2020. Since 2017, the successive presidents of MEDEF, France’s leading network of entrepreneurs, have entrusted him with heading the Proscenium program, which brings together the management of 400 medium-sized companies with a turnover of more than 300 million euros. He has been a member of the Citizen Reserve of the National Gendarmerie since 2021.


In April 2023, following the transfer of Derichebourg Multiservices by the Derichebourg Group to Elior Group in exchange for a 48.3% stake, he became Chief Operating Officer for Elior Group.
