An engineer by training, Mathias Massaria began his career with Eiffage Energie, where, for seven years he worked as Business Manager and then Service Manager. 

In 2010 he joined DERICHEBOURG Energie in the post of Works Manager and then Operations Manager for Works and Maintenance business. He contributed to the development of the subsidiary and in 2020 he became its CEO. In 2022 Mathias Massaria also took over the executive management of DERICHEBOURG Energie EP and DERICHEBOURG VRD Espaces Verts.
